AMS-119 Geara Doga

The AMS-119 Geara Doga is a mass-produced general-purpose mobile suit developed by Anaheim Electronics for Neo Zeon during the Second Neo Zeon War in Universal Century 0093. It was designed as a reliable and cost-effective successor to the MS-06F Zaku II, featuring modernized systems while retaining the classic Zeon aesthetic. Standing at 20 meters tall and weighing around 28 metric tons, the Geara Doga is powered by a Minovsky-type ultracompact fusion reactor. Its propulsion system, equipped with multiple thrusters and vernier motors, allows for agile maneuvering in space combat.

The mobile suit is armed with a versatile range of weapons, including a beam sword-axe that can transform into different forms such as a sword, pick, or axe. For ranged combat, it uses a beam machine gun with an under-barrel grenade launcher. Additionally, the Geara Doga carries a shield with integrated grenade launchers and storage for rocket-propelled grenades. It also includes a shock anchor for close-quarters combat.

Several variants of the Geara Doga exist, including the Heavy Armed Type, which is equipped with a long-range gun and additional propellant tanks, and the Geara Doga Kai, a commander-use prototype featuring improved armor and avionics. Other variants, such as the Desert Doga and Marine Doga, are adapted for specialized combat environments.

In combat, the Geara Doga was effective against Earth Federation forces, though its armor was sometimes vulnerable. Despite this, its versatility and ease of production made it a staple in Neo Zeon’s military operations. After the war, surviving units continued to serve with Neo Zeon remnants, often customized to reflect the new factions. The Geara Doga remains an iconic example of Neo Zeon’s engineering, combining traditional Zeonic design with modern advancements to create a formidable combat unit.
