MS-14A Gelgoog

The MS-14A Gelgoog is an upgraded version of the MS-14 Gelgoog, featuring several key improvements in both design and armament. Unlike the earlier MS-14, which was equipped with conventional weapons like a 60mm rifle and heat saber, the MS-14A was armed with advanced beam weaponry, including a beam rifle and twin beam swords, allowing it to engage enemies more effectively in both ranged and close combat. The MS-14A also featured enhanced mobility, with forearm-mounted thrusters for better maneuverability, particularly in space. This made it more agile than the earlier MS-14, which had more basic thruster placement. The MS-14A’s design was more refined overall, with improved armor and a larger shield with anti-beam coating, offering better protection. Although the MS-14A was introduced late in the war, its superior capabilities and widespread deployment gave it a more significant role in Zeon’s forces compared to the MS-14, though it ultimately arrived too late to alter the outcome of the conflict.
