Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya (緑谷 出久) is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia, a popular manga and anime series created by Kohei Horikoshi. Born in a world where nearly everyone has a unique superpower known as a “Quirk,” Midoriya is initially born without one. Despite this, he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might, the world’s greatest hero. His passion for heroism and determination to help others despite his lack of power is what drives the series’ narrative.

Midoriya’s life changes when he inherits All Might’s Quirk, “One For All,” a powerful ability that grants him immense strength and agility. As the series progresses, Midoriya navigates his journey to becoming a true hero, training at U.A. High School, where he learns to control his powers and faces various challenges, both personal and external. Throughout the series, he is known for his strong sense of justice, kindness, and determination, even when faced with overwhelming obstacles.

Midoriya’s character development is a major focus of My Hero Academia. He evolves from a timid and powerless boy into a confident, resourceful hero. His empathy for others and desire to protect those around him, combined with his intelligence and strategic thinking, make him a compelling and inspirational character. His growth is both physical, through the mastery of “One For All,” and emotional, as he learns what it truly means to be a hero.
