Masafumi Watanabe

Masafumi Watanabe (渡辺 正文) is a Japanese sculptor known for his work with Kotobukiya, particularly in the Frame Arms Girl series. He is credited as one of the main sculptors for Frame Arms Girl Greifen, released in 2018, alongside Kenichi Miyashita. His work on the kit involves crafting both the mechanical armor and figure components to match the detailed and articulated style typical of the series.

In addition to full character kits, Watanabe has also contributed to Kotobukiya’s Modeling Support Goods (M.S.G.) line, sculpting weapon accessories such as the *Heavy Weapon Unit 53*. His sculpting style emphasizes clean mechanical detailing and compatibility with Kotobukiya’s modular joint systems.

Masafumi Watanabe’s contributions help bring both character figures and mechanical accessories to life, making him a consistent and skilled figure in the development of Kotobukiya’s plastic model kits.
