Jgsdf Type 07-Ⅲ Tank Nacchin

The JGSDF Type 07-III Tank Nacchin is a unique mecha design that blends military technology with futuristic concepts, introduced as part of a collaboration between Kotobukiya and the Armored Trooper Votoms series. The Nacchin is portrayed as a compact, humanoid-like tank featuring a distinctive “tail” and a cockpit that is accessed through a hatch in its head. Originally created as an autonomous tank with advanced AI, the Nacchin serves as a symbol of technological progression, capable of predicting future events and operating independently in various environments.

In the series, Captain Natsuki Kukuri of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) treats the Nacchin unit as an equal, giving it the affectionate name “Nacchin.” Together, they embark on a journey in a world altered by mysterious phenomena, seeking to uncover the truth and restore balance. The design of the Nacchin includes numerous points of articulation, making it highly customizable and dynamic for display. It is equipped with various weapons and accessories, including eye panels for expression, and offers the flexibility of integrating with parts from other mecha series.

Several versions of the Nacchin model have been released, including the Scopedog Ver., which draws inspiration from the iconic mecha design in Armored Trooper Votoms. This version features additional molded parts like a head visor and shoulder armor, along with accessories such as a heavy machine gun. Other variants include the EX Ver., which features unique cat-ear-like details and a cockpit seat, and the Patrol Ver., designed for urban operations, equipped with specialized gear like patrol lamps and a ballistic shield. Each version offers unique customization options, making the Nacchin a versatile and appealing model for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
