MS-14J ReGelgu

The MS-14J ReGelgu is an upgraded version of the MS-14A Gelgoog, developed by Neo Zeon during the First Neo Zeon War. Its name, “ReGelgu,” stands for “Refined Gelgoog,” reflecting its enhancements over the original Gelgoog design. The ReGelgu was introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and also appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, where it was used by the Sleeves faction.

The ReGelgu featured significant upgrades, including large shoulder-mounted binders with multiple thrusters and verniers, improving its maneuverability in space combat. It was also equipped with a more powerful generator, allowing for better performance in battle. The mobile suit’s armament was enhanced as well, including a beam rifle with an integrated grenade launcher, grenade launchers on the forearms, and a pair of beam lancers stored on its backpack, making it a versatile and formidable force in combat.

The ReGelgu was deployed as a primary mobile suit for Neo Zeon forces and remained in service until the introduction of the AMX-003 Gaza-C. It was also used as a training unit for new pilots. During the Laplace Incident in UC 0096, remnants of the ReGelgu were utilized by the Sleeves, cementing its legacy as a key mobile suit in Zeon’s post-war development.
