MS-21C Dra-C

The MS-21C Dra-C is a unique space assault mobile suit developed by the Delaz Fleet during the Delaz Conflict in UC 0083. It was constructed using salvaged components, primarily from MS-06F-2 Zaku II F2 units and the Gattle space fighter-bomber, reflecting the fleet’s limited resources. The Dra-C is notable for its unconventional design, lacking traditional legs and instead utilizing large propellant tanks for propulsion, which enhances straight-line acceleration but compromises maneuverability. To compensate, the Dra-C is equipped with shoulder-mounted thrusters and a modified Gattle backpack with movable vernier nozzles for improved attitude control.

Armed with a 40mm three-barrel vulcan gun on its right forearm and a shield with an integrated beam saber, the Dra-C was lightly equipped for its primary roles in reconnaissance, sabotage, and rapid assault missions. Some units, particularly those used by the Sleeves during the Laplace Incident in UC 0096, were upgraded with a 6-barrel beam Gatling gun, boosting their firepower and sensor capabilities. Despite its limited armament and unconventional design, the Dra-C served effectively in space combat, reflecting the resourcefulness of Zeon remnants who made the most of available parts to create a functional and formidable mobile suit.
