Hatsune Miku GT Project

The Hatsune Miku GT Project is a collaborative initiative launched in 2008 by Good Smile Company, featuring the virtual idol Hatsune Miku as its official mascot, Racing Miku. The project combines the worlds of motorsports and anime, with Racing Miku representing Good Smile Racing, the team that competes in Japan’s premier motorsport series, SUPER GT. The team has achieved notable success, winning championships in 2011, 2014, and 2017. Each year, Racing Miku’s design evolves, with new artistic themes that reflect the energy and spirit of the project. These designs are often translated into various collectibles, including figures, model kits, and merchandise, allowing fans to bring their favorite Racing Miku designs to life.

The project has expanded over the years, with new figures and model kits released based on Racing Miku’s yearly designs, such as the 2023 version illustrated by toridamono. These collectibles are highly detailed, often coming in different versions, such as 1/7 scale figures, figma action figures, and model kits like the Moderoid Racing Miku 2022 Ver. Racing Miku has become a beloved icon not just in the anime and gaming communities but also in the motorsport world, further solidifying its place as a symbol of both racing and pop culture.
