Naruto (ナルト) is a Japanese manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. Set in a fictional world where ninjas wield elemental chakra to perform extraordinary feats, the story follows Naruto Uzumaki (うずまきナルト), an orphaned boy who aspires to become the Hokage (火影)—the leader of his village, Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Hidden Leaf Village).
