Advanced Zi Series Zoids Geno Breaker

Takara Tomy Advanced Zi Series Zoids AZ-12 Geno Breaker brings one of the most iconic Tyrannosaurus-type Zoids back as a high-end motorised moving kit. Based on the Geno Breaker seen in the Zoids anime, this Advanced Zi release updates the classic design with refined proportions, dense mechanical detailing and a powerful red-armoured silhouette.

The highlight of this kit is its motorised action. Once assembled and powered, Geno Breaker can walk with linked movement across the head, neck, tail, legs and armour sections, creating the “living machine” feel that makes Zoids unique. The eyes, mouth-mounted Charged Particle Cannon and internal Zoid Core also feature LED light-up effects for an even stronger display presence.

Geno Breaker’s signature Breaker Unit has also been reworked for the Advanced Zi line. The Free Round Shields and EX-Breakers can move in connection with the walking action when set to motorised mode, while selected parts can also be unlocked for manual posing. Additional moving armour features include the cockpit hatch, weapon binders, tail heat-radiation fins, leg anchors, burner covers and back-mounted Charged Particle Converter.

This release also pays close attention to the anime version. It includes a 1/72 scale Raven figure, a Shadow figure with interchangeable wing parts, and colour/detail choices inspired by the scene where Shadow combines with Geno Breaker. Extra parts are also included to recreate a more standard-colour Geno Breaker look, or to build a red Geno Saurer-style configuration.

With its large weapon binders, aggressive profile, motorised walking gimmick and LED effects, AZ-12 Geno Breaker is a centrepiece kit for Zoids collectors and a strong choice for builders who want a premium mechanical model with movement, display impact and classic anime presence.
