Quaxly

Quaxly (クワッス) is a Water-type Duckling Pokemon introduced in Generation IX as one of the starter Pokemon for the Paldea region. Standing 0.5 meters tall and weighing 6.1 kilograms, it is characterized by its earnest and tidy personality, with a particular dislike for getting its head dirty. Its feathers secrete a gel that repels water and grime, while its strong legs allow it to swim freely even in swift currents. In battle, it possesses the Torrent ability and exhibits balanced base stats, including 55 HP, 65 Attack, and 50 Speed. Quaxly evolves into Quaxwell and eventually into the Water/Fighting-type Quaquaval. Originally migrating from a distant land to settle in Paldea, its name is thought to be derived from a combination of “quack,” “wasser” (German for water), and “wax”.
