Regild Century

The Regild Century (R.C.) is a unique timeline within the Gundam franchise, introduced in Gundam Reconguista in G (2014). Set in the year R.C. 1014, it takes place approximately 1,014 years after the events of the Universal Century. This era depicts a world in recovery, where humanity has rebuilt civilization around the Capital Tower, a massive space elevator from the Universal Century, and established a new religion called SU-Cordism. The timeline is primarily represented by Gundam Reconguista in G, which follows Bellri Zenam, a young cadet of the Capital Guard, as he becomes embroiled in conflicts involving advanced mobile suits like the G-Self and its pilot, Aida Surugan. The series explores themes of technological restraint, societal reconstruction, and the cyclical nature of human conflict, distinguishing itself from other Gundam timelines by focusing on a future shaped by the lessons of the past.
