AMS-129 Geara Zulu

The AMS-129 Geara Zulu is a mass-production Neo Zeon mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is used by the Sleeves in U.C. 0096 as the successor to the AMS-119 Geara Doga lineage from Char’s Counterattack.

The Geara Zulu has a strong Zeon visual identity: mono-eye head, curved armour, uniform-like chest detail and equipment that recalls both the Zaku II and later Neo Zeon suits. Standard equipment includes a beam machine gun, beam hawk, shield, hand grenades and optional mission weapons. Commander, Guards Type and special-use variants also appear, including machines associated with Angelo Sauper and Full Frontal’s forces.

Its design reflects the Sleeves’ political and military situation. The machine looks deliberately old-Zeon and ceremonial, but it is still a capable late-UC mobile suit. It gives the Sleeves a recognisable frontline unit for the Laplace conflict, standing opposite Federation machines such as the Jegan, Jesta and ReZEL.
