ATM-09-ST Scopedog

ATM-09-ST Scopedog is the iconic Armored Trooper from Armored Trooper VOTOMS. It is the standard mass-production machine used across the series and is most closely associated with Chirico Cuvie, the central protagonist and one of the most famous real-robot pilots in anime.

The Scopedog has a rugged, utilitarian design with a round turret-like head, triple-lens camera system and roller-dash mobility. Unlike heroic super robots, it is presented as a disposable military machine that can be repaired, replaced and modified for different missions. Its gritty realism, compact proportions and battlefield practicality make the Scopedog one of the defining designs of 1980s real-robot mecha.
