EDM-GA-01 Gundam Lfrith Ur

The EDM-GA-01 Gundam Lfrith Ur is a GUND-ARM mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It is piloted by Sophie Pulone of Dawn of Fold and appears together with Norea Du Noc’s Gundam Lfrith Thorn.

Lfrith Ur is part of the Lfrith-related Gundam lineage but has a much heavier and more aggressive layout than the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial. It carries large firearms and uses GUND Format systems in real combat rather than controlled school duels. The machine’s bulky frame and powerful weapon profile match Sophie’s reckless, high-pressure fighting style.

The unit is used by Dawn of Fold during attacks connected to the Earthian-Spacian conflict, bringing Gundam technology into an armed resistance / terrorism context. Its appearance changes the story’s treatment of Gundams from school rumours and corporate secrets into battlefield weapons used outside the Benerit Group’s control.
