Evangelion Unit-02’β

Evangelion Unit-02’β is an upgraded form of Evangelion Unit-02 from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. The machine is most closely associated with Asuka Shikinami Langley, who pilots Unit-02 through multiple damaged and repaired configurations during the later Rebuild films.

The Unit-02’β form reflects the patched, combat-worn state of the Evangelion after severe battle damage. It retains Unit-02’s red colour identity and aggressive silhouette while incorporating replacement parts and altered equipment suited to continuing combat under desperate conditions. Its design captures the Rebuild series’ harsher mechanical tone, where Evangelions are repeatedly repaired, modified and pushed beyond normal limits.
