Me02R-F01 Messer Type-F01

The Me02R-F01 Messer Type-F01 is a Mafty-use mass-production mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. It is used by Hathaway Noa’s anti-Federation organisation as a frontline combat machine for raids, ground operations and support of the RX-105 Xi Gundam.

The Messer is developed from the design lineage of late Neo Zeon mobile suits and has a mono-eye head, large body, heavy armour and bulky thruster layout. Its silhouette recalls machines such as the Geara Doga and Geara Zulu, but with a more modern U.C. 0100s proportions. Standard equipment includes a long beam rifle, beam sabre, shield and optional equipment for atmospheric or ground combat.

The Type-F01 version is commonly seen with Mafty’s forces during the Davao operation period. Its heavy frame and Zeon-influenced styling visually separate Mafty from both the Earth Federation’s Gustav Karl units and the Penelope, giving the organisation a distinct mobile suit identity rather than relying only on Hathaway’s Xi Gundam.
