Mirasoul Flight Unit

The Mirasoul Flight Unit is an optional flight support unit from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It is used with the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial to improve atmospheric mobility, allowing the Aerial to operate more effectively in flight rather than relying only on its base thrusters and Bit Stave systems.

The unit is a backpack-style equipment pack rather than a separate mobile suit. It adds large wing-like flight components and propulsion equipment to the Aerial’s back, changing the machine’s silhouette and giving it a more aviation-oriented profile. It is connected with Mirasoul, a company in the Ad Stella setting, and shows how mobile suits in The Witch from Mercury can be adapted through external corporate equipment.

As support equipment, the Mirasoul Flight Unit is comparable in function to other Gundam add-on packs: it changes mission capability without replacing the core mobile suit. For the Aerial, it expands battlefield options in atmosphere and gives the machine a distinct configuration separate from its standard school-duel appearance.
