PMX-003 The-O

PMX-003 The-O is Paptimus Scirocco’s personal mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Developed aboard the Jupiter energy fleet and used by Scirocco during the final stages of the Gryps Conflict, The-O has a deceptively simple but extremely powerful design focused on overwhelming performance and close-quarters control. Its major pilot is Paptimus Scirocco, the Newtype strategist and leader whose final battle against Kamille Bidan made The-O one of Zeta Gundam’s most memorable rival machines.

Despite its bulky appearance, The-O is highly manoeuvrable and features heavy armour, high thruster output, beam rifle armament and hidden sub-arms beneath its front skirt armour for surprise beam saber attacks. It is also associated with advanced pilot-response systems, making it a fitting machine for Scirocco’s Newtype abilities. As one of the final rival units in Zeta Gundam, The-O is remembered for its imposing presence and climactic duel against the Zeta Gundam.
