RB-79K Ball Type K

RB-79K Ball Type K is a Federation mobile pod variant from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. It is best known for Shiro Amada’s early encounter with a Zaku while using a Ball-type unit, giving this otherwise modest support craft a memorable battlefield moment.

The Ball Type K is based on the RB-79 Ball, a space construction pod adapted for military use, but fitted with equipment suited to combat support. It keeps the round body, manipulator arms and simple cannon-style weapon layout that define the Ball family.
