RMS-099 Rick Dias

RMS-099 Rick Dias is a second-generation mass-production attack-use mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Developed by Anaheim Electronics for the AEUG as part of the Zeta Project, it was originally planned under the “Gamma Gundam” concept, making it technically connected to the Gundam development line even though it was ultimately fielded under the name Rick Dias rather than as a Gundam-type unit.

The Rick Dias has a distinctive heavy silhouette, mono-eye sensor influence and advanced features for its time, including a panoramic cockpit. Its standard armament includes a head-mounted 55mm Vulcan Phalanx, beam pistols stored on the backpack, a beam saber, and optional weapons such as the Clay Bazooka or beam rifle. Originally fielded in a dark colour scheme, the red version used by Quattro Bajeena later became the better-known standard colour, making the Rick Dias one of the most recognisable AEUG mobile suits from the Gryps Conflict.
