RX-78-7 7th Gundam

RX-78-7 7th Gundam is a Federation prototype mobile suit from the MSV and Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C. 0081 line. It was developed as part of the extended RX-78 Gundam development family after the original RX-78-2, with a focus on improved performance and expandability. It is associated with Phantom Sweep pilot Hugues Courand in U.C. 0081 material.

The 7th Gundam keeps the classic RX-78 visual identity while adding a more modernised frame, enhanced equipment compatibility and the ability to use additional armour and heavy weapon systems. It represents the Federation’s continued refinement of the original Gundam concept after the One Year War. For builders, it is a strong link between the first Gundam and later full-armour or high-spec Federation prototypes.
