RX-78(G)E Gundam EX

RX-78(G)E Gundam EX is a Federation mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. It is a specialised Gundam-type unit deployed during the One Year War and appears as a terrifyingly powerful enemy from the Zeon-side perspective of the story.

The Gundam EX carries the familiar RX-78 Gundam lineage into a darker, more realistic battlefield presentation, with strong armour, high mobility and powerful weaponry. Its design emphasises the intimidating side of the Gundam mythos: to Zeon soldiers, a Gundam is not only a heroic prototype, but a nearly unstoppable battlefield threat. This makes the Gundam EX a striking modern reinterpretation of the original One Year War Gundam concept.
