RX-80PR Pale Rider

RX-80PR Pale Rider is an experimental Earth Federation mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link. Developed during the One Year War, it is part of the RX-80 project and is best known for carrying the HADES system, a dangerous pilot-assist combat system related in concept to other extreme response systems in the Universal Century. Its major pilot is Chloe Croce, whose story is closely tied to the Pale Rider’s battlefield use.

The Pale Rider combines Federation-style Gundam and GM design elements with powerful optional weaponry, including beam weapons, machine guns and heavy equipment depending on configuration. The HADES system gives it a sinister identity, pushing the machine’s performance at great cost to pilot safety. Its blue-and-white armour, visor-like head and experimental background make it one of the most recognisable game-origin Federation mobile suits.
