Ryuomaru

The Ryuomaru (龍王丸) is a powerful demon machine from Mashin Hero Wataru characterized by its striking gold, white, and red color scheme. Its design features a clear head part that reveals an internal structure referred to as the soul of the golden dragon. The mecha is built with a movable exterior and a complex internal structure designed for high-density posing.

A defining design specification of the Ryuomaru is its two-stage transformation mechanism, which allows it to change from its humanoid form into a bird-like flight mode known as the Super Phoenix King or Super Houou (超鳳王). In this transformed state, the mecha utilizes a specialized head mechanism where the eyes only become visible after the transformation is complete, and its well-thought-out wing and leg structures allow for a seamless transition between forms. Its primary armaments include the OtoriRyuken sword and a specialized sheath shield.
