Sengoku Astray Gundam

Sengoku Astray Gundam is a customised Gunpla from Gundam Build Fighters, based on the Gundam Astray Red Frame from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray. Its major builder and pilot is Nils Nielsen, a skilled Gunpla Fighter who combines scientific analysis with martial arts-inspired battle techniques.

The Sengoku Astray transforms the Astray frame into a samurai-themed close-combat machine, with armour, weapons and styling inspired by Sengoku-period Japanese warriors. It emphasises swordplay, mobility and precise melee attacks rather than heavy ranged firepower. The design is popular because it blends the Astray Red Frame’s katana identity with a stronger historical-warrior visual theme.
