Steel-Scythe Kay

Steel-Scythe Kay is the Round Table Knights’ pale reaper, a swift duelist built to unmake enemy lines with reach and timing rather than brute force. Its silhouette is lean and purposeful—tall helm, narrow pauldrons, and a flowing mantle that flares when it commits to a charge. Thrusters and joints are tuned for snap acceleration and sudden lateral cuts, so Kay can slip through a gap, change angle mid-dash, and return to the fray before defenders can reset.

Its namesake scythe is more than a cutter; it’s a control weapon. The hooked blade bites on draw-cuts, the haft leverages trips and binds, and a quick twist turns a feint into a clean reap. When the fight collapses to grappling range, concealed short blades flick from the forearms for swift finishes, letting Kay flow from a wide arc to a close execution without breaking rhythm. On the field it functions as the formation’s scalpel: heavier knights pin the foe, Kay slides past the guard, and a single, precise sweep leaves the enemy advance suddenly, irreparably severed.
