UGY-R266C Monkey Rodi

The UGY-R266C Monkey Rodi (モンキー・ロディ) is a relatively inexpensive land-combat mobile suit that utilizes the Rodi Frame and was introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt. It features a partially exposed internal frame and curved armor with high strength, displaying surprisingly high mobility when controlled via the Alaya-Vijnana System. The Commander Type unit is distinguished by a horn on its head and signature orange shoulders, standing at an overall height of 17.0 meters and weighing 34.0 tons. Its standard armament includes a submachine gun, a crowbar for close combat, grenades that can be attached to the side armor, and a shield repurposed from its own armor.

The design was later modified by the Rakow Pirates’ mechanic team into the UGY-R267MM Monkey Crab Rodi (モンキークラブ・ロディ) to maximize proficiency in high-mobility combat. This configuration removes the standard humanoid hand manipulators, replacing them with claws designed to pierce targets using momentum upon approach, and incorporates internal machine guns in both arms for suppressive fire. While it retains the signature orange shoulders and 17.0-meter height of the base model, its weight increases to 35.5 tons.
