Plamax

Plamax (プラマックス) is Max Factory’s all-purpose plastic-model brand, covering everything from classic mecha to character kits. The range splits into several sub-series: Minimum Factory fixed-pose figures in 1/20 scale, Combat Armors MAX and PX mecha in 1/72 scale, and newer articulated body kits like Xi-Ⅲ that stand roughly 155 mm tall in 1/12-ish proportions. Recent releases are snap-fit, multi-colour PS/ABS kits that need only basic nippers; earlier Minimum Factory items still recommend glue for a seamless finish. Expect pre-painted or tampo-printed faces, PVC hands, magnetic clothing parts, weapon sprues and, where appropriate, articulated display stands.
