Sousai Shojo Teien
Sousai Shojo Teien (創彩少女庭園, literally create colour girl garden) is Kotobukiya’s original “everyday school-girl” model-kit line. Each snap-fit, colour-separated PS/ABS kit builds a fully articulated body about 150 mm tall (roughly 1/10 scale), so only basic nippers are needed and glue is optional. Boxes pack plenty of options straight out of the gate, including four pre-painted faces, spare hairstyles and alternate skirts for easy expression and outfit swaps. Standard 3 mm connection points in the hands and back let the girls borrow parts and weapons from M.S.G., Frame Arms Girl or Megami Device kits for hassle-free kit-bashing. All character designs come from illustrator En Morikura, and the roster already includes Madoka Yuki, Ritsuka Saeki, Emma Koishikawa and Bukiko Kotobuki, with “After School” accessory sets (presents, instruments, cameras and more) to recreate slice-of-life scenes. Easy for beginners yet endlessly customisable, Sousai Shojo Teien offers a blank canvas for hobbyists who prefer school uniforms to powered armour—without sacrificing the articulation and modularity that define modern girlpla.
