Streptopelia Universal Space Type

DLKHobby 1/100 ZAW-S01 Streptopelia (Ikaruga) Universal Space Type is an exceptionally ambitious original mecha model kit, combining an enormous parts count, a multi-layer internal skeleton and a comprehensive weapon loadout. Standing approximately 24.8 cm tall when completed, it offers the presence and complexity of a premium large-scale centrepiece.

With approximately 1,030 parts across 99 runners, Ikaruga is designed for builders looking for a long and satisfying project. Its three-stage construction begins with the structural core, followed by a fully colour-separated mechanical frame and finally the factory matte-finished outer armour. This creates impressive mechanical depth even before the external armour is fitted.

Multi-Layer Internal Frame

The highly detailed skeleton uses several frame colours to distinguish its mechanical components. Articulated pistons, sliding hip joints and linked armour panels move together with the elbows and knees, providing both strong articulation and a convincing mechanical appearance.

Multiple head configurations are also included, with alternative forehead pieces, visor styles and a translucent full-face mask allowing the finished model to be personalised.
