Eren Yeager

Eren Yeager (エレン・イェーガー) is the protagonist of Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人), created by Hajime Isayama. He grows up in Shiganshina District with Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, dreaming of seeing the world beyond the Walls.

After the fall of Wall Maria and the death of his mother, Eren swears to destroy the Titans and joins the military, later becoming a member of the Survey Corps. He discovers the ability to transform into the Attack Titan, placing him at the centre of the conflict between humanity, the Titans, Marley and Eldia.

Eren begins as an impulsive, freedom-obsessed boy driven by anger and survival, but his role becomes far more morally complex as the story develops. His pursuit of freedom, his bond with Mikasa and Armin, and his eventual choices make him one of the most controversial and defining characters in modern anime and manga.
