Munchlax

Munchlax (ゴンベ) is a Normal-type Pokemon that first appeared in the fourth generation of the series. Known as the Big Eater Pokemon, it is the pre-evolved form of Snorlax. It was the first Generation IV Pokemon to be officially revealed and made its debut in the game Pokemon Dash and the film Destiny Deoxys.

In the anime series, the character May catches a Munchlax, which becomes a key member of her team. Munchlax is known for its voracious appetite, often seen eating large amounts of food or items it finds. This behavior is also reflected in its appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where it emerges from a Poke Ball to consume items on the stage. Beyond the main video games and anime, Munchlax has been featured in various merchandise, including official Pokemon Center soft vinyl mascots, plush cushions, and numerous promotional Pokemon Trading Card Game cards such as those from the PokePark 2005 collection.
