Scorbunny
Scorbunny (ヒバニー, Hibanī) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII as one of the three starter Pokémon of the Galar region, alongside Grookey and Sobble. Known as the Rabbit Pokémon, it is a bipedal, rabbit-like creature with a predominantly white body, long floppy ears, and orange and yellow markings on its ears, toes, and neck. A notable design feature is a yellow, bandage-like patch across its nose, which generates heat and reflects its energetic and sometimes mischievous personality.
Characterized by its high energy, Scorbunny loves to run and perform warm-up exercises to circulate fire energy through its body. It possesses special pads on the soles of its feet and its nose that radiate tremendous heat when it is ready to fight, allowing its kicks to deal heavy damage and leave burning footprints. In battle, it primarily utilizes its agility and powerful legs, with its signature “Blaze” ability boosting Fire-type moves when its health is low. It can also possess the hidden ability “Libero”. Scorbunny evolves into Raboot at level 16 and eventually into its final form, Cinderace, at level 35. In the anime “Pokémon Journeys: The Series,” a Scorbunny is a prominent character as the first Pokémon caught by Goh.
