EDM-GA-02 Gundam Lfrith Thorn

The EDM-GA-02 Gundam Lfrith Thorn is a GUND-ARM mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It is piloted by Norea Du Noc of Dawn of Fold and operates alongside Sophie Pulone’s Gundam Lfrith Ur.

Lfrith Thorn has a compact and unusual body shape, with shorter proportions and a more compressed silhouette than most Ad Stella Gundams. Its equipment supports ranged and coordinated combat with Lfrith Ur, and it uses GUND Format technology despite the political ban and health risks associated with Gundams.

The machine is tied to Dawn of Fold’s Earthian operations and to Norea’s role as a traumatised child soldier. Unlike Aerial or Pharact, Lfrith Thorn is not presented through school duels or corporate testing; it appears as a combat machine used in violent operations outside the academy, showing another consequence of the Vanadis / GUND-ARM legacy.
