FD-03-00 Gustav Karl Type-00

The FD-03-00 Gustav Karl Type-00 (グスタフ・カール００型) is a mass-produced general-purpose mobile suit utilized by the Earth Federation Forces’ Circe Unit in U.C. 0105. Standing at a head height of 22.0 meters with a max weight of 60.0 metric tons, it is one of the largest mass-produced units of the Universal Century. Its design is a refined version of the earlier FD-03 Type-13, featuring a completely overhauled internal frame and a thick, heavily armored silhouette constructed from Gundarium Alloy.

Visually, the Type-00 is characterized by its bulky frame and a specific head design featuring a rod antenna on the left side and a single vulcan gun. It features a flexible shield mounted on the left shoulder via an independent articulated arm, which differs from previous versions where the shield was backpack-mounted. The suit is powered by a Minovsky ultracompact fusion reactor providing 3425 kW, supporting a total rocket thrust of 79,500 kg through 11 thrusters and large attitude control verniers on the shoulders and skirt for high mobility. Its armament includes two beam sabers stored in the side armor, a two-tube grenade launcher on the left forearm, and a backpack capable of mounting a beam rifle and a bazooka.
