MS-06K Zaku Cannon

MS-06K Zaku Cannon is an artillery-support variant of the Zeon MS-06 Zaku II series. Originating from Mobile Suit Variation and later appearing across the Universal Century, it adapts the basic Zaku frame for mid- to long-range fire support rather than standard frontline combat. Notable pilots and units associated with the type include Ian Greydon’s Zaku Cannon and other Zeon and Zeon-remnant artillery units deployed for ground support roles.

The Zaku Cannon is fitted with a large shoulder-mounted cannon, additional sensors and support equipment, while retaining familiar Zaku II features such as the mono-eye head and rugged mass-production body. Its design reflects Zeon’s practical approach to battlefield specialisation during and after the One Year War, turning the widely used Zaku platform into a dedicated support mobile suit for ground operations.
