MSN-001 Delta Gundam

MSN-001 Delta Gundam is a prototype mobile suit from the Zeta Gundam MSV / Gundam UC MSV design lineage. It represents the original non-transforming form of the Delta Project, which later influenced machines such as the Hyaku Shiki and Delta Plus. It is not tied to a single main anime pilot, being primarily a design-variation machine.

The Delta Gundam is notable for its golden anti-beam coating and sharp Zeta Project styling. In concept, it preserves the idea of a true Gundam-type Delta machine before the design was redirected into the Hyaku Shiki. Its appeal lies in combining the elegance of the Hyaku Shiki with a more overt Gundam face and prototype identity, making it a popular “what-if” style Universal Century design.
