The OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon is Treize Khushrenada’s “duelist’s Gundam” for the After Colony era—a close-combat purist built of Gundanium alloy, eschewing all ranged weaponry in favor of absolute resolve at knife-fighting distance. Its primary armament is a variable-output beam sword powered directly off the reactor, capable of cutting capital-class targets; control and reach are complemented by a segmented heat rod that whips, binds, and shears through armor and mobile doll swarms. Epyon mounts an advanced combat-prediction interface—the Epyon System, a harsh cousin of the ZERO System—that injects battlefield foresight at the cost of psychological strain, pushing pilots toward ruthless, singular outcomes. A high-thrust flight frame and transformable “dragon” mobile armor mode give it extreme approach speed, while heavy thermal shielding and capacitors let it sustain the sword’s titanic output during prolonged engagements. Conceived by Treize, tested by Heero Yuy, and ultimately wielded by Zechs Merquise under White Fang, Epyon embodies aristocratic warfare: honor-bound, terrifying up close, and decisive in single combat.
