The RX-121-1 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] Icarus Unit (ガンダムTR-1［ヘイズル・改］イカロス・ユニット) is a high-mobility mobile suit configuration developed for the Titans Test Team as part of the Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans project. This specific variant is equipped with the Icarus Unit, a specialized armament system designed to grant a mobile suit the capability for independent flight and high maneuverability within gravity environments.

The design is characterized by its bulky, heavily armored silhouette, dominated by large-scale propulsion systems integrated into the legs and shoulders. Specifically, the configuration features newly developed shoulder-mounted thermonuclear rocket engines and leg-mounted thermonuclear jet engines that provide the immense thrust required for atmospheric flight. Despite the addition of these massive flight components, the unit retains the core Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] torso and head, including the signature sensor array and characteristic Titans color scheme of dark blue and black. The Icarus Unit components are designed to mount onto the existing hardpoints of the Hazel Custom, allowing it to maintain compatibility with standard armaments such as the long beam rifle and beam sabers while greatly expanding its operational range and speed.
