RX-178B Build Gundam Mk-II

RX-178B Build Gundam Mk-II is a customised Gunpla from Gundam Build Fighters, based on the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Its major builder and pilot is Sei Iori, with Reiji also using it in battle during the series. The unit was created after Sei gained more experience as a builder and wanted a machine with strong balance and tactical flexibility.

The Build Gundam Mk-II keeps the classic Gundam Mk-II silhouette while adding Build Booster equipment and customised weapons for Gunpla Battle. Its design highlights the Build Fighters concept of improving and personalising an existing mobile suit rather than simply recreating it. With its link to one of the Universal Century’s most recognisable Gundams and Sei’s growth as a builder, the Build Gundam Mk-II is an important machine in the early Build Fighters storyline.
