The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is a powerful successor to the original Freedom Gundam, featured prominently in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Developed by ZAFT using data from the original Freedom and Justice Gundams, the Strike Freedom represents a pinnacle of Cosmic Era mobile suit technology, combining overwhelming firepower, unmatched mobility, and advanced defensive systems. It is piloted by Kira Yamato, who returns to the battlefield with this upgraded suit to combat rising threats and push for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

Standing at 18.88 meters tall and weighing around 80 metric tons, the Strike Freedom is powered by a hyper deuterion nuclear reactor with a Neutron Jammer Canceller, granting it limitless operational time. It is protected by advanced Phase Shift Armor, and incorporates the Voiture Lumière propulsion system, which enhances both speed and maneuverability, especially in atmospheric and space flight. The suit also integrates DRAGOON (Disconnected Rapid Armament Group Overlook Operation Network) units, which give it all-range attack capability.

Strike Freedom’s armament is formidable and optimized for simultaneous multi-target engagement. Its signature weapons include MA-M21KF high-energy beam rifles, which can be combined into a single long rifle for concentrated fire, and MX2200 beam shields mounted on its forearms for defense.
