Attack On Titan

Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人) is the dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It was serialised in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2009 to 2021 and later adapted into a major anime series by Wit Studio and MAPPA.

The story begins in a world where humanity lives behind enormous walls to protect itself from man-eating Titans. After the fall of Shiganshina and the death of his mother, Eren Yeager joins the military with Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, seeking freedom beyond the walls. As the plot develops, Attack on Titan expands from survival horror into a complex story about war, inherited hatred, nationalism, freedom and the cost of revenge.
