Evangelion:3.0＋1.0 Thrice Upon A Time

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (シン・エヴァンゲリオン劇場版:𝄂) is the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion series. Produced by Studio Khara and written by Hideaki Anno, it was released in Japan in 2021 and serves as the conclusion to the Rebuild continuity.

The film follows Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka Shikinami Langley, Mari Illustrious Makinami and the surviving NERV/WILLE cast after the events of Evangelion: 3.0. It brings together large-scale Evangelion action, psychological drama and a more final reflection on the franchise’s long-running themes of trauma, identity, separation and moving forward.
