Fate/Grand Order

Fate/Grand Order (フェイト・グランドオーダー) is a free-to-play Japanese gacha mobile RPG developed by Lasengle (formerly Delightworks) and published by Aniplex. Based on Type-Moon’s Fate/stay night franchise, the game features a narrative-heavy story presented in a visual novel format where players act as Masters. They summon and command powerful familiars known as Servants—historical, literary, and mythological figures—to engage in turn-based command card battles.

The plot centers on the Chaldea Security Organization, which uses Rayshift technology to send the protagonist, Ritsuka Fujimaru, and the Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight back in time to resolve “Singularities”. These are temporal distortions that threaten the extinction of humanity. The game’s success has led to a vast media mix, including various manga series, anime television films like First Order, and feature films such as Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot. Since its 2015 launch, it has become one of the highest-grossing mobile games globally, surpassing $7 billion in total revenue by late 2023.
