Super Robot Wars OG

Super Robot Wars OG, short for Original Generation, is the branch of the Super Robot Wars (スーパーロボット大戦) franchise focused on Banpresto’s original characters and mecha rather than licensed anime series. It brings together machines and pilots created for the games, including units such as the Gespenst, Alteisen, Cybuster and Huckebein.

The OG setting turns the usual Super Robot Wars crossover formula into its own connected universe, with recurring organisations, rival factions, alien threats and original pilots. It is especially popular with mecha fans because many designs combine dramatic super-robot flair with detailed real-robot styling, making the line a rich source for model kits and action figures.
