Hasegawa (ハセガワ) is a long-established Japanese model-kit maker based in Shizuoka, producing high-detail scale plastic model kits across classic hobby subjects—especially aircraft, alongside ships, cars, and military vehicles, plus select sci-fi/character releases. Founded in 1941 and entering plastic models in 1961, Hasegawa has built a reputation for crisp surface detail and subject accuracy that appeals to builders who enjoy a “proper” scale-modelling experience.
