Spider-Man

Spider-Man (スパイダーマン) is a superhero created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko for Marvel Comics, first appearing in 1962. The original character is Peter Parker, a young man who gained arachnid-like abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. He is known for his agility, the ability to cling to surfaces, and his use of “web-shooters” to navigate urban environments like New York City. Over time, the mantle of Spider-Man has been shared by others, most notably Miles Morales, a teenager who took on the role in the Ultimate Marvel universe and later joined the main continuity. The character has become a global icon, featuring prominently in numerous films, animated series, and video games, including the acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man series for PlayStation. His stories often explore the balance between his civilian life and the heavy responsibilities of being a hero, guided by the principle that “with great power there must also come great responsibility”.
