Seiichi Nakatani

Seiichi Nakatani (中谷誠一) is a Japanese animator and mechanical designer recognized for his detailed mecha illustrations characterized by clean, straight lines. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles in numerous high-profile anime productions, frequently serving as a chief animation director, animation director, and key animator. He is particularly well known for his extensive work on the Code Geass franchise, including serving as the chief animation director for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and the movie Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection. His diverse portfolio also includes key design and animation contributions to the Brave series, such as The Brave King GaoGaiGar Final and The Brave Express Might Gaine, as well as work on titles like Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Planetes, and Gun x Sword.
