AMX-102 Zssa

The AMX-102 Zssa (ズサ) is a mass-production artillery mobile suit developed during the First Neo Zeon War for rear-support and long-range destruction. Standing at an overall height of 15.0 meters with a base weight of 23.7 tons, it features a stocky, compact, and “egg-shaped” frame designed to carry a massive payload of missiles. Its most distinctive design element is the large, detachable rear-mounted booster pod, which functions as both an independent flight craft and a significant part of its artillery arsenal with four multi-tube missile launchers.

The mecha’s appearance is defined by its aggressive Neo Zeon aesthetic, characterized by an industrial look and numerous missile pods integrated throughout its body. It possesses specialized hatches across its chest, arms, thighs, and legs that can be opened to reveal over 44 missiles for a “salvo mode” all-out attack. Standard equipment includes a beam machine gun, a shield with Sturm Faust storage, and beam sabers. Variant appearances include the original version from the First Neo Zeon War and a veteran “Sleeves” unit from the Laplace Incident, which features iconic ornamental trim on its forearms and chest.
